Virginia Education Assessment Collaborative

The Virginia Education Assessment Collaborative (VEAC) is a partnership between Educator Preparation Programs (EPPs) in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The collaborative’s purpose is to provide a centralized assessment structure for Virginia EPPs that standardizes and reduces the complexity of data collection for both the Virginia Department of Education and the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation. Statewide data dashboards are publicly available on the VEAC website.

Teacher Mentoring Networks

Mentoring networks represent strong partnerships between the Virginia Department of Education, state-level organizations, colleges and universities, and preK-12 school divisions. Through these partnerships, we work to support teachers entering the profession and the mentors who guide these teachers through the early stages of their careers.
